Registration includes On the Go Day Camp, July 13; Art Blast Day Camp July 14; Wild Water Day Camp, July 15; and A Bug's Life Day Camp, July 16. Please see below for descriptions of each day camp session.

The fine print:

• Day Camp sessions begin at 9 AM and end at 5 PM. Campers must be picked up every evening.
• This offer only applies to the specific sessions listed above and below and cannot be transferred to other camp sessions.
• Already registered for one or more of these sessions?  Email info@gsiowa.org and request that your registration be transferred!  Please include the session(s) you have already registered for in your request.

On the Go Day Camp: July 13

Join us for a fun-filled day camp where every moment is an adventure! Splash into the cool lake for a swim, ride the waves while boating, and let your creativity shine during a hands-on craft session. Embark on a scavenger hunt filled with clues, riddles, and hidden surprises. Get ready for a day full of fun, laughter, and awesome memories!

Art Blast Day Camp: July 14

Get ready for an awesome day of creativity at camp! Dive into hands-on crafts that spark your imagination--tie-dye a t-shirt, make cool creations inspired by nature, and weave a colorful friendship bracelet to remember your camp adventures! Later, cool off with a swim in the lake and enjoy fun games that will keep you laughing. It’s a day filled with crafts, friendship, and memories you’ll treasure!

Highlights of this session:

Wild Water Day Camp: July 15:

Dive into an exciting water adventure at Camp Tanglefoot! Soak up the sun as you leap into the cool lake from the Lily Pad, glide across the sparkling water while boating, and splash around in fun water games that will have you laughing with your new friends! You’ll spend plenty of time enjoying the lake, but the fun doesn’t end there—you’ll also create a water-themed craft to take home to remember this amazing day!

Highlights of the session:

• Swim and jump off the Lily Pad.
• Go boating.
• Make a craft.

A Bug’s Life Day Camp: July 16:

Hey, nature explorers! Join us as we venture into the wilderness on an exciting bug hunt.  Decorate your very own bug jar so you can keep the fun going at home and capture one of the coolest nighttime creatures—fireflies! We’ll explore our native prairie in search of caterpillars, grasshoppers, and other bugs that live among the wildflowers, and we'll also keep an eye out for animal tracks! It’s a day full of adventure, including a refreshing swim in the lake and boating on the sparkling waters.

• Decorate a bug jar.
• Go on a bug hunt.
• Go swimming.
