Join Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa for a weekend getaway to the Twin Cities! We'll spend a fun, adventure-filled weekend exploring all there is to do in Minneapolis and St. Paul. We'll spend time discovering the amazing lakes, check out art and history museums, take in a local sports game, and of course spend some time exploring the amazing Mall of America!

Virtual meetings will occur starting in April 2024 to meet participants and to go over itineraries, chaperone roles, paperwork, packing list, and other items to prepare for travel. This opportunity is for Girl Scout Juniors through Ambassadors. Girl Scouts must be entering grade 5 in August 2024 to participate.

Adult spots are very limited to maximize the number of Girl Scout travelers. Adult chaperone registration is by application only. Interested adults should fill out this online application: https://forms.office.com/r/SxvMn2C5cH Chaperone spots will be filled on a rolling basis.

Trip includes:

-Round-trip transportation

-All meals

-All hotel costs

-Costs of all activities*

*Itinerary will be finalized in Spring of 2024 and is subject to change

Payment details: This event requires a deposit to register. Deposits are non-refundable. The payment schedule is as follows:

-Deposit due upon registration - $100

-February 15, 2024 - Total due $250

-May 15, 2024 - Total due: $600

Cancellation Policy

Please note, deposit is non-refundable.

If cancellation is requested more than 90 days before the trip departure date, a refund will be issued less the $99 deposit.

Cancellation requests less than 90 days prior to departure date will incur a cancellation fee of 35% of the trip fee plus deposit. ($210.00 per registrant)

If cancellation request is less than 30 days prior to departure, a refund will only be issued in the event of a serious personal injury, illness accompanied with a doctor’s note, a death in the immediate family, relocation, or rescheduling of the event. The refund, if granted, will incur a cancellation fee of 35% of the trip fee plus deposit. ($210.00 per registrant)
