She's a go-getter. She's risk-taker. She strives to be the best she can be. She's a C.I.T.! Counselors-in-Training (C.I.T.s) come to camp to experience adventure and make life-long friends. From reaching new heights in the tree tops, to forging the river in a kayak, to relaxing with a good book in a hammock, she experiences all that camp has to offer. A group of forever friends gathered around the campfire swapping stories and singing camp songs is the perfect end to this three-week adventure.

She's also looking forward, to a future in camp counseling, teaching, or other human service fields. The complete C.I.T. experience takes place over a two-summer period and includes some hands-on experience in learning to lead, child development, outdoor skills, responsibility, conflict resolution, and group dynamics. In the second year in addition to camp activities, girls learn more about working with younger campers and gain hands-on experience leading them in camp activities.

C.I.T.s will have a session break from 1:30 p.m. on July 23, 2022, through 2:30 p.m. on July 25, 2022. C.I.T.s must plan to leave camp during this session break.

Scheduling accommodations may be made if a girl has to miss a few days of this program. C.I.T. I is not required to participate in C.I.T. II. After successful completion of the C.I.T. program, girls are encouraged to apply to work as camp staff prior to the summer they turn 18.
