Picture yourself waking up in a tent full of friends, and stepping outside to see the mist on the lakes. You and your counselors listen to loons while building up the fire and making a hot breakfast. Then you pack up all your belongings and canoe to the next new adventure. This trip will have a few days of preparation and planning at Camp Sacajawea before leaving for 5 days, 4 nights in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Join us on a trip to northern Minnesota where you will tackle a week of primitive camping and get the chance to explore the great Northwoods. Get ready for the adventure of sleeping outdoors in a tent, canoeing daily, and living out of a backpack. We will be paddling and portaging to a new campsite almost every night!

Before 2/1/2017 a discount of $35.00 will apply.
Cancellation Policy
Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa (GSGI) Cancellation policy All deposit fees will be retained for any cancellations or no-shows. We are not able to accommodate refunds of deposits. GSGI may issue a partial refund for the following circumstances: • A girl is ill and cannot attend a session (doctor’s note required). • Written notice of cancellation has been received 2 weeks or more prior to the event start date. • GSGI cancels an event. No refund will be issued when: • A girl is a no-show. • A girl arrives late or leaves early. • Activities are missed as a result of inclement weather. • Written notice of cancellation has not been received 2 weeks prior to the program start date, other than for illness or emergency. Refunds are given in the manner in which they were paid, and to the account of fee origination. A one-time transfer to another event is available if completed prior to the registration deadlines. To receive a refund: • Send a written request for the refund 2 weeks prior to the program start date to: registration@gsiowa.org. Please be sure to state the following: Name of the girl(s) whose registration(s) should be canceled; name and start date of the event; and reason for the cancellation.
